확실히 이 벽은 민간인이 접근할수 없는 숨겨진 비무장지대와는 다르다. 개발의 측면에서 본 비무장지대는  생태학적으로 거의 보호된, 지상의 마지막 갈라파고스라고 한다. 어떻게 재통일이 되어야할지를 생태학적으로 건축학적 측면에서 상상해본다.  남아있는 흔적은 무잇이며, 가장 빠른 물리적변화로 인하여 고통받는것은 무엇인가?
Certainly the wall is very different from the demilitarised zone because the DMZ is a hidden and unapproachable place to civilians. In terms of regeneration this means it is almost ecologically protected, as one of the few "the last Galapagos on Earth". It is interesting to imagine how it will be viewed ecologically and architecturally should re-unification occur. What traces will remain and what will suffer the most rapid modifications?
